






“GOING EAST” 2021 Series of very damaged 6x6 colour slides (ca.1970), found in a damp cellar in Switzerland. The photosensitive silver layer is being attacked by fungi and mold, symbolizing a slow process of disappearance.These images evoke both our impressions/memories and a strange premonition of the disaster that was to come last 24 February 2022. The body of work « Going East”, 2021 presented here exemplifies our minimalist camera-less tendencies, and our questioning of everyday life, intimacy, the passing of time. PDF concept

D I S P A R I T I O N 1 - 6, 2019 Black and White in Colors From B / W contacts prints 24 x 36mm found in a Swiss photo shop from the 1920’s. When presented to the light of day for the first time, after 100 years, we noticed their «colors» strangely reddish and noticed that they disappeared slowly. No doubt badly or not at all fixed at the time? /// Noir et Blanc en Couleurs. A partir de tirages contacts 24 x 36mm N/B objets trouvés, provenant d’un magasin de photographie des années 1920-30 en Suisse. Lorsque présentés à la lumière du jour pour la première fois, après 100 ans (1920 - 2019), nous avons constaté leur «couleur» étrangement rougeâtre et remarqué que l’image disparaissait au fil du temps.
